Convenient hotel locations

There are several hotels next door to the Center or in the immediate area, providing a choice for location, amenities, prices, and use of your various loyalty / rewards programs. We encourage you to call and reserve your rooms as soon as possible.

How far are the hotels from the convention center?

Working together with the Gateway Center and each hotel, we have put together a reasonably complete listing of the hotels in the immediate area. Many of these facilities are close enough that you can even walk to the Gateway Center. All of the hotels serving the Gateway Center complex are handicap accessible, and some require a drive of only a couple minutes at most to the Gateway Center.

How many nights will I need to book?

Most RPM attendees choose to arrive on Thursday evening in order to spend a full two days at this event, participate in social activities, meet others of like interest, and be ready for the 9:00 a.m. opening on Friday morning. To do that, attendees normally need at least two nights lodging for the meet.

When should I book my hotel stay?

Many other events are being held in the Collinsville area at the same time as RPM, so reserving your room early can help you get a room before the RPM room rates and room availability are no longer guaranteed. During our event alone, we occupy nearly 400 room nights. Therefore, we recommend reserving your room before the 4th of July holiday each year in order to get the best rate and the hotel of your choice. Making that call before St. Patrick’s Day is even better!

Is there an RPM hotel discount?

Yes! Be sure and ask for a St. Louis RPM meet price in one of the blocks or groups of rooms that have been set aside for you and other “RPM’ers”. Whatever rate or discount program you use, please tell them that your stay is in conjunction with the RPM. This will allow for a better group rate for us next year.

What is the RPM Round Up?

In cooperation with our host hotel, the Double Tree, RPM guests can join in the camaraderie of other attendees on Friday evening at the Lounge in the large lobby of the hotel. They provide a lovely array of appetizers, compliments of the Double Tree. Beverages can be purchased in the same area. Known as the “RPM Round Up,” this social event is held every year on Friday night about the time the layout tours end, the Gateway Center closes and most attendees have returned from dinner engagements.

Host Hotel for 2022

Our host hotel, the DoubleTree, is our way of providing a main hotel where you can meet many of the vendors, exhibitors, clinicians, and members of various historical societies that happen to stay there too. RPM attendees often gather in the restaurants, lounges, and open meeting areas to discuss common interests. While all of the various hotels listed have several attendees staying with them over that weekend, the Double Tree tends to have the largest number of RPM attendees staying with them.

While providing an excellent facility to host our program is our main focus, the ability for you to select a conveniently located quality hotel of your choosing is of importance as well. Feel free to call any of these hotels and select the one that fits your budget, and needs for amenities.
